I’m originally from Bolton, a northern girl who grew up in a small town in the Peak District from the age of seven. I’ve called Devon home for nearly 20 years now. From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people—I even dreamed of becoming a registered mental health nurse. But life took me on a different path, one filled with both deep pain and profound happiness.
As I approach 50, I can look back and see how much my life has changed, especially over the past decade. I've faced significant struggles, and even now, sharing this brings a heaviness to my heart and tears to my eyes. But I hope my story can inspire and empower you. Life doesn’t have to stay the way it is now. With dedication and kindness to yourself, change is possible, and you can achieve the goals you deserve to reach.
There was a time when I felt completely powerless, overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and a deep sense of hopelessness. In my search for control, I developed an unhealthy coping mechanism that became a constant companion during my loneliest moments. For 17 years, I lived in a situation that left me isolated from my loved ones and drained my sense of self-worth.

I reached a point where I felt trapped and could see no way out. But even in those darkest moments, I knew I had to keep going - I had four children who depended on me. Despite the toll it took on my health, both physically and emotionally, I persevered. Just when it seemed there was no more strength left in me, I faced a profound loss that shook me to my core.

That loss, 15 years ago, marked a turning point. I had stopped looking to the future, convinced that happiness was not meant for me. But with time, I found hope again. I welcomed another child into my life—a sign of new beginnings—and eventually found the courage to leave my past behind. That was when the true journey of healing began.
Over the past decade, I trained as a massage therapist and built a successful practice. Through my work, I listened to my clients' stories and observed their physical pain, which often stemmed from deeper issues such as stress, anxiety, and trauma. This insight inspired me to expand my ability to help others.
I pursued additional training as a Life Coach and later qualified in Counselling Skills. Currently, I am working towards a degree in Person-Centred Counselling. This journey has been transformative, allowing me to reconnect with myself and build the confidence to make meaningful decisions and positive changes in my life.
My approach
"I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to achieve their goals. The journey we will embark on together may be challenging, and there might be moments when you feel like retreating. However, I will be by your side every step of the way because I am confident in your ability to succeed. I prefer to keep things straightforward, avoiding complex jargon. We will experience both laughter and tears, but ultimately, we'll celebrate your success—whether with a cocktail or a coffee."
